Here's a trick for setting light height: tie a string with a heavy object onto your light. Set the bottom of the heavy object 18" from the bottom of the light. You will always know what the distances are then. With my air cooled 600 HPS, I can set the light about 12" from the canopy with no problems.

 

You are going to be shocked at how fast those plants grow in the stretch period. I lost control of my last grow and ended up with my lights all the way to the top of their limit. Luckily the plants finally stopped growing at about 4 weeks into flower. They ended up 12' from the lights. Scary! And this was from plants that I had topped!

So on to the update, Day 37 in the flower room for the oldest GDPs :) and they are looking good. I wish they were a ittle bigger/thicker but hey they still have some weeks to go :

Oh yea, went in room last night and It looked like the tric doubled over night! Lol I was like WTF??? Cause there were so many :) I'll get some pics up later when lights come back on, they are def getting a little thinker too :)

One of my king lush clones had a root about an inch or so long, put her into some soil. Other king has 1/8 - 1/4 inch roots trying to poke out :) the GDP..... Nothing yet .

Day 44 of the GDP :) you can see the purp coming out in it :) they just got there last feeding yesterday, nothing but RO water till they get plucked.. Hope they pack on a little more weight in the next 2 weeks..

awe :)

 

i was sifting through some old pages looking for something and i ran across this :)

 

Oh also while looking at my ladies i saw really really really little orange/yellow looking worms?? i killed all i could find, just not sure what they are, so im def keeping them inside now :( but i think they will love their new home..

:jig: Yea I gotta thank all you guys on here bro. You guys put in the hours and share your knowledge freely and I gotta say you guys have helped me become what i am now :) still a noobie grower lol But I am alot more knowledgable now than what i was :)

So I cut one of the purps yesterday, milky trics, only saw one or 2 amber, but im out so it will def work :)

yea, this def isnt a big yielder... I am hoiping it is super potant.. maybe a longer veg time, with more topping or a scrog may help her...
