Kingdiamonds Headbangers Ball!

Recommended Posts

Gunner Ross lived 5 streets over from me in monroe back in the mid 80s during his almighty strut days at one time he held the record for the worlds biggest kick drums until Stephan Kaufman of Accept outdid him later that year.

That would be a hilarious thing to tell people to this day.

Saw both of these tours Holy diver at pine knob with Dee Snyder and Twisted sister Dee spotted a fan wearing a thriller shirt he went ballistic wtf are you doing at a heavy metal concert he yelled at the guy !

Lol

The last in line was with Dokken in the Toledo sports arena I'm fighting all night long for my little square of floor space with this humongous person who kept elbowing me right in my ear hole after a while i just lost my patience and popped this person in the back of their head next thing i hear this 90 lb weakling scream you just hit my girlfriend!

I look and this was quite possibly the woman from Jimmy Castors The Bertha Butt Boogie she looked like chunk from goonies and rocky Dennis had a love child lol .

After i fought off her clan security removed them from the floor.

Not saying it was ok to hit a woman id never would have touched her otherwise but in my defense she was huge appeared to be a dude and had hit me no less than 5-6 times straight in my right ear hole on purpose to get my little bit of space . :growl:

To bad we couldnt get David to support the rally and speak ! He loves cannabis , I remeber when he was busted for a doobie in the park and compared it to having a pretzel after being arrested and all ..

We seriously do need a well known public face to draw media attention to our plight we are all targets as it currently sits expessialy if they convict someone of DUID who hasent medicated in 12 hours. :notfair:

I love that tune off the Scorpion's first album.

Quiet Riot is lucky their producer insisted they cover those Slade tunes! I don't know if they would have broke through without 'em.

Encouraged by Quiet Riot's success Slade made a good run at commercial appeal in the US, but never truly got over.

After the show me and my life long best friend are hitting the head on the way out my Buddy's drunk on his tail so basically i was babysitting him lol we walk in yngwies singer at that time Jeff Scott Soto was standing at the urinal relieving himself my buddy runs up to him wow man its really awesome to meet you hes shaking the heck out of Scott Soto while hes holding his junk in his other hand his eyes got really huge so i stepped in and pulled my buddy away and let him finish his business we had a great laugh out back with billy and Scott Soto while we waited for autographs.

haahaha awesome story, KingDiamond. I saw Yngwie at the State Theatre in K-Zoo on the Trilogy tour. But i owned Rising Force right after it came out. i spent countless hours learning to play far beyond the sun. i used to be able to play a good amount of it. some of the solo was impossible for me to replicate though. i can only play the rhythms and the eighth notes in the solo. lol those 32nd notes are sick!
