That's Kurt Danielson on bass. He wrote the lyrics for Tad as well. Live he headbanged his way through the entire show. Seems like a very cool guy and he was highly influential on the Seattle grunge scene.

It's a similar quasi-operatic style. Kiske's voice is brighter and he hits the high notes effortlessly while Bruce has to force it. Bruce has more balls though.

I actually play through that identical rig a boss gt-8 and a 100 watt marshall half stack and she has really good taste in music too thats off of abigal "The house began to breath it seemed to be alive"!

I used to have a 100W 1987 Plexi half-stack. No master volume on that so if you wanted the sound you had to crank it. A tube overdrive pedal and making the amp run at 50W helped get a good sound at lower volume but nothing beat the sound of opening it up.
