why pay for Kraft macncheese when the black and white striped box is half the price?   I think 10 bucks a seed is dirt cheap  and would gladly pay more if I had to.

In fact I have paid more for a seed, much more, and it was worth every penny even though my patients pay the same for the bud regardless.

Thanks for the link, missed it the first time around. My kid was into tissue culture in high school and a coupla years ago suggested it for MJ. Did a little research and not a lot of folks were successful; told her that it was a bit more involved than I was ready for.

Because sterilized seeds won't grow.

learning the sex of a plant is expensive, but so is finding out you just spent the summer growing male clones that were offered as females...as happened to a new grower a couple miles from me.

Yeah. Also what effect does that have on your neighbor's outdoor grow? Your neighbor might have 12 solid female plants growing outdoors, but if the guy next door is growing unsexed plants, this might result in pollination of the neighbor's plants.

I wonder if that ever really happens? Heard about it a lot but never met someone who it actually happened to.

I'm thinking at least with legal gardens growers are on top of this. they are in and out of the garden area sometimes daily. A male showing sex is unmistakable almost on the first day especially when working with unknown genetics imo.

The uncarded grows, or vacation gardens are another story.

I was growing two plants outside a few years ago and one was pollinated by something. That was my last outdoor grow. The plant that wasn't pollinated got bud rot.

he trusted clones bot at a disp at to be females.  any one of us could have the same happen.

I never bought a clone in my life, just saying.

 seeds have proven a better route for me femmed or not, but I see the plants daily and I cant miss a boy in there.
