House Bill No. 4271

(6) A provisioning center or safety compliance facility shall

not knowingly employ an individual who has been convicted of an

excluded felony offense during the immediately preceding 10-year

period or who is under 21 years of age. A provisioning center or

safety compliance facility shall perform a background check on an

individual before he or she is offered employment to verify that he

or she has not been convicted of an excluded felony offense during

the immediately preceding 10-year period.

^ what does all this mean exactly? Maybe they will allow a convicted felon to be a caregiver again, aslong as its over 10 years?

And what ever happened to the 12" x 12" clone/seedling idea? I didn't find it in there anywhere?

clones got removed along with cultivation, and I believe you are correct about the felon language.

We are suppose to carry pharmaceuticals in the labeled container

when we need to travel with them.

Maybe that is what these folks think is proper since it is med mj?

This is what happened to a friend of mine.

Finally hit retirement age and is uber happy about it.

Heading to Mt. Pleasant to the casino for some celebrating.

Got pulled over for 'speeding' just south of Mt. Pleasant. leo said the car

smelled like mj... and it did.  Driver does not use mj.  Back seat passenger

is a cg/pt. One of his patients is the front passenger.  They were smoking mmj.

No ticket for speeding. No confiscation of mmj, showed cards and got a

warning.  BUT front passenger, my friend, had 2 of his vicoden in his front

shirt pocket w/ out his script bottle.  He just didn't want to carry the bottle

w/ him.  Off to jail he went, Isabella Co. I don't remember the exact charges but

he spent 5 days in jail bc the script bottle his wife went home to retrieve, was expired.

It was a strange mess. This man had never been in trouble w/ leo a day in his life.

I am not saying that I like this language, only a possible reason as to why the labeling.

imo it is too restrictive.  One of my cg's made is own labels and when I was

traveling with mmj I used one of the baggies with a label.

Warning > contains medical marijuana.

For medicinal use only.

^^That should be enough, imo.

Sorry about your friend with the pills it can and does go bad when  traveling  around  without the bottle i do see the drug stores selling pill containers at the counters that you can carry in your pocket with no label i know that if you have one and Leo pulls you over it  won't work ether

And you may not have any pain pills in it but how is Leo to know ?

It will be the same with mmj
