Potential Antidote To Marijuana-Induced Anxiety?

Recommended Posts

there was something about the possibility of ibuprofen taking off the 'high' of marijuana.

but i see the original study was done on rats. maybe someone who takes ibuprofen can chime in.

I can't think of any drug interaction between ibuprofen and cannabis. I have used both for a long time.

I'm going to try the pepper later on today. Maybe a 4-5 patient quick study.

since the day I grew my own cannabis I have never experienced marijuana induced anxiety. I've grow every cup winner from several countries, and a few hundred other strains as well. makes me wonder what that anxiety was, when occasionally a sack would cause it. sometimes bad in some people. I don't miss that crap at all.

you can find good cheap black peppercorns at indian grocery stores.

if you've never had real black peppercorns, they are a bit more spicy than the mccormack crap they sell for $5 a bottle.

I use a grinder for whole peppercorns. It can be used to adjust the size of the grind and the results are great. I haven't experienced anxiety in a loong time using, but it's good to know.

wait, no one said to smoke the pepper.

i think just smelling freshly ground pepper should be enough.

heres the ibuprofen article

Sometimes, it’s just a matter of trial and error: find the right strain, the right time, and the right setting in which to consume cannabis. But if you’re met with a case of pot paranoia, just throw some pepper on that bowl.

Reads to me like they meant to smoke it..  IDK ? i'll try it an see

Very interesting.

I am going to give it a try... sniffing fresh ground peppercorns that is,

think I'll opt out of smoking it though, LOL!

I do and have always had anxiety just after smoking cannabis.

How I deal with it is knowing that in about 20 - 30 minutes the

anxiety will dissipate.

Okay, experiment is on.

Fresh packed bowl... check.

Fresh ground peppercorns... check.

Report to follow.

LOL knuck!

I felt I should run the experiment several times for the best evaluation ;)

I used fresh ground peppercorn as that is what I had on hand.

I did not smoke it, only sniffed it immediately after consumption.

I grind my pepper very fine.  It does make me sneeze when used.

I discovered that I did not sneeze once, sniffing it after

cannabis consumption.  I felt that worth reporting, lol.

As far as whiffing pepper after cannabis... I will have to experiment

a little more :bong7bp:   I know I felt less anxiety, but there are many variables

that I want to be sure.

I am experimenting with a Sativa dominant strain also.  I really want

to put this theory to the test :D
