Stay safe out there, patients and caregivers. MSP has always been wanting to raid this event, every year they huff and puff about it.

Michael, if MSP were to raid the event what are the implications for the patients in attendance? I assume they would be mostly after vendors with/without booths that aren’t following state law...

Might want to look at the other states when they have raided cannabis cups. I think in Las Vegas and in Detroit.

 

Usually they find something to charge a person with. Although a patient acquiring marijuana should be immune from a lot of different things. Assuming they are within their limits and have cards + ID.

Still a terrible miscarriage of justice that a defendant can't have the government pay their legal fees if they win the case. A law making the government responsible for defendants legal fees if the government lost would perhaps make the government think twice before charging someone with a crime.
